Due to growing concerns of safety issues regarding COVID-19, North Carolina State- College of Veterinary Medicine has cancelled all scheduled formal gatherings on campus. Unfortunately, this includes the North Carolina Association of Veterinary Technician’s Spring Conference. The Executive Board has been monitoring this situation and held an emergency meeting to discuss other options.
The final decision of the Executive Board is that the Spring Conference will not be rescheduled as we do not know how this situation will progress. The Board has agreed that we should promptly begin putting our efforts into preparing for our annual Fall Conference, currently scheduled for October, and focus on building this event to meet the Continuing Education needs of our members.
We will be happy to refund each registrant the cost of their registration fee if desired, or we will also have the option to roll over registration fees and apply them towards the Fall Conference. Please stay tuned for further details about money reimbursement or rollover.
